The Grocery Man

I should probably take note that I am no longer in starvation mode here at Georgetown. And it's all thanks to a convenient service known as Safeway.com.

It involves making a shopping list and choosing the items online and clicking "submit order."

Though I successfully navigated steps 1 & 2 on Sunday, I somehow failed to complete step 3. Thus, a delivery that should have arrived at my doorstep on Monday night was very inconveniently and unnecessarily delayed.

But Wednesday night, the floodgates opened and approximately $56 worth of stuff was delivered to my doorstep. For free (well, delivery was free)! It was a very happy day.

And now I've discovered a new passion -- cooking. So far I've cooked a tuna casserole, grilled cheese sandwich and breakfast burrito, which, as my mom knows, is a pretty big deal for me...
