As part of Eaglevision, our campus news broadcast, a few friends and I have been working on special reports off campus this semester. Unfortunately, very few people and businesses approve of these proceedings, resulting in more than a few "GET OUT OF HERE!"'s in the past few weeks. From personal experience, I am hereby compiling a partial list of places where bringing in an imposing videa camera and unwieldy tripod would NOT be in your best interest.
1. Disneyland. Even if it's outside the park gates, these people will spot your large camera and blazer, send out an APB and swiftly escort you out in about 60 seconds flat.
2. Airport. For some reason, John Wayne's security found three young women in a black car pulled off the side of the freeway filming tarmac proceedings through a razor wire fence SUSPICIOUS. Go figure.
3. Cemetery. Kudos to Helen for her intrepidness. But apparently, walking onto the grounds of a Catholic cemetery with video equipment and getting footage of a recently covered burial plot is not allowed.
For future reference
Sincerely,
Michelle
