Deck the Halls

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is our traditional tree-trimming, light-stringing, hall-decking day. Unfortunately, most of the family (besides my younger brother Matt) has fallen victim to the spirit of the Grinch and didn't care to fumble with the ceramic nativity and giant artificial fir that are currently gracing the living room.

Nevertheless, one stepstool, a few paper clips and two determined siblings later, we got the nine-foot tree up.

And this infant holy, infant lowly is back for his birthday once again!

Shoot, I wish I could fit a NINE-foot tree in my living room. :)
