The End is Near / I Mourn

It's the end of the year, the time for last hugs and last classes and last meals at the cafe. People are packing up and giving out freebies. When I walked into my hall last night, I had to bypass three different kissing couples. Girls in my hall are gone already, and some are leaving with the intention of never ever coming back.

I'm miserable. Or rather, I'm in denial. I like to just conveniently ignore the fact that I will be leaving campus tomorrow and some of these people I will never see again. It's so icky, though, to think of all those good-byes I want to say, I want to expound on. I can't say it to everybody, thus I say it to nobody lest this depression soak into my skin.

And there's all those little unsolved mysteries. There are undeveloped friendships and unrequited loves that just stab me if I pay attention. I want to cry. I wish school never ended. Summer is not enticing me. It's weird, but staying here is.
