Merry Labor Day!

To celebrate Labor Day weekend, my roommate Gail (2nd from right) joined our R.A. Linell (in the Mexican party dress), Carissa (in the bright red flats), and Jennie (behind the camera) on a road trip to Elise (the blonde)'s home in scenic Santa Barbara. Despite being unusually hot, it was a fabulous getaway. Why are we dressed up? Cuz we don't miss church for anything.
Our Sunday lunch involved a bit of Argentinian food, a la Cafe Buenos Aires. Loved the linen tablecloths, fountains and de-lish food. Didn't love the hour-long hiatus between ordering and receiving the de-lish food. Thanks, scattered waitress...
And here she is, Gail Patches, at the top of a tower overlooking S.B. She went on the record this weekend as saying "I think this Santa Barbara is, like, the best place I've ever been."
